Okimaw Volunteer Opportunity!

Duties and Responsibilities– We are looking for individuals to help us with this year's 2023 Okimaw Awards – Honoring our Indigenous Men.

 

Some of the duties and responsibilities are but not limited to:

• Sit on the committee (2 positions)

• Rounding up donations

• Helping with promoting the Awards

• Helping with duties at the Awards Ceremony in the Fall

Time Requirements– You would be looking at 2-4 hours a month to attend meetings from June 2024 until the date of the Awards Ceremony (Nov 2024). 
 

Location– Live Streaming Online and at the Grey Eagle Hotel where the Awards ceremony will be held. 
 

Work Environment– Mainly online however when you are doing any Okimaw business in the community to be dressed to impress!!
 

Skills & Qualifications – Previous experience working within committees is an asset but not required.
